Immortal Studios is a media-based startup creating original fantasy content. At Immortal Studios, I spearheaded strategy for their latest Kickstarter campaign, reaching a $10,000 goal within 3 hours and ultimately ending with $35,000 from 1150 total backers. To complement the campaign, I also analyzed social, web, and original poll data to identify target market segments, develop pricing tiers, and prioritize product features to attract backers. Over the summer, I also ideated a high level product roadmap and implemented a fan engagement strategy.
At Informatica, I worked on implementing Informatica's SQL column expressions as native expressions within the Apache Spark codebase to minimize unnecessary string conversions and maximize performance. In doing so, expression performance improved by an average of 25% when testing on 40 million row datasets, with some expressions seeing up to a 60% increase. I also created a proof of concept on how to integrate the Envoy proxy into Informatica's existing microservices infrastructure.
Wrote the backend of a webapp that patches faulty Zoom audio for recorded sessions by using a local, non-corrupted recording. Won 1st place overall, Best Use of Google Cloud, and Best Entrepreneurial Hack at Citrus Hacks 2020
Designed modular front-end and back-end components for a smart key rack that detected the presence of keys on a sensor and updated a website in real time.
Designed and created a full stack web application that parses and itemizes grocery receipts using the Google Vision API. Helps users efficiently split a grocery bill after shopping in a group.
I enjoy playing basketball, watching sports, listening to music, and exploring the outdoors. I'm a big fan of watching basketball and baseball, specifically the Lakers and Angels.
